Who this applies to
These terms apply to organizations that have applied for and been approved for a BINS APP commercial account: contractors, property managers, builders, developers, facilities teams and national accounts that manage recurring work across more than one location.
A commercial account is an account structure layered on top of the platform. The Terms of Use apply to your use of the platform, and the Customer Rental Agreement applies to each individual rental or service booked under the account. These terms govern the commercial account itself and control where they conflict with standard checkout terms.
Account approval
Commercial accounts are opened by application, either through the commercial account form or through the commercial sales team. Approval is at BINS APP’s discretion and may depend on the information you provide about your organization, the scale and type of work, and the locations involved.
Submitting an application does not create an account, a pricing commitment or a service obligation. Account structure, available features and any negotiated pricing are confirmed with approved commercial customers during account setup.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the organization details, billing contacts and site information you provide, and for keeping them current.
Authorized users
Approved commercial accounts get portal access so more than one person can order, request swaps, reorder and review service history across sites.
The account holder is responsible for the actions of everyone it allows to use the account, including orders they place and commitments they make. Keep credentials confidential, remove access for people who leave, and tell us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without authorization.
Job sites
Commercial accounts organize work around job sites: named locations recorded once and reused for ordering. A job site holds its address, the equipment types it needs, and a preferred placement location on the site.
You can add, update and remove job sites in the portal. For each site, the account holder is responsible for the following, and delays or failed deliveries caused by them are not the platform’s or the operator’s responsibility.
- The accuracy of the address and access instructions.
- Clear, safe and legal access for delivery and collection vehicles at the scheduled time.
- Any street, city or municipal permit required for placement.
- Any property owner, HOA or landlord approval required for placement.
- Selecting a placement location suitable for the weight and dimensions of the equipment.
Placement on driveways, pavement and other finished surfaces carries a risk of surface damage. The allocation of that risk is set out in the Customer Rental Agreement.
Quotes
When you select a configuration for a job site, the platform returns a quote for that configuration. A quote reflects the equipment, duration, quantity and location you selected, together with any pricing structure that applies to your account.
Quotes are estimates for the configuration quoted. They can change if the configuration changes, if site conditions differ from what was described, if the rental period is extended, or if weight allowances are exceeded. Additional charges arising after service are governed by the Customer Rental Agreement.
Blanket rates and negotiated pricing
Approved commercial customers can receive negotiated pricing structures designed to apply consistently across eligible projects and locations.
These structures are agreed with your account team during account setup rather than published as a public discount or a standard rate card. They apply to eligible projects and locations as defined in your account terms, and they do not apply automatically to work outside that scope.
- Negotiated pricing is specific to your account and is confidential between us.
- Eligibility for a given structure can depend on volume, service type, market and site.
- Pass-through and conditional charges — permits, overweight loads, prohibited-material handling, extended rentals — sit outside a negotiated structure unless it says otherwise.
- Pricing structures can be revised on notice as markets, disposal costs and account scope change.
Swaps
For active placements you can request a swap — collection of a full unit and delivery of an empty one — and nominate a preferred date.
A preferred date is a request, not a confirmed appointment. Scheduling depends on operator availability, site access and route capacity in your market, and the confirmed date is the one shown in the portal once the request is accepted. Swaps are subject to the same weight allowances and prohibited-material rules as the original placement.
Reorders
You can reorder a previous configuration to a chosen job site rather than rebuilding it. Reorders are re-quoted at the time you place them, so pricing reflects current rates and current availability rather than what you paid before.
A reorder is a new order. It is subject to the terms in force when it is placed, and it does not carry over any exception or accommodation granted on a previous order.
Billing and payment
Unless invoicing arrangements have been agreed for your account, orders are paid at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; BINS APP does not store payment card details.
Where invoicing or consolidated billing has been agreed, the payment terms in your account documentation apply. Amounts are due as stated there, and BINS APP may suspend ordering on an account with overdue balances, or require payment at checkout until the balance is cleared.
Charges that arise after service — extended rental days, overweight loads, prohibited-material handling, failed or obstructed collections — are billed to the account. Please raise any billing dispute promptly with the amounts and order references in question so it can be investigated.
Services are performed by independent operators
Work booked through a commercial account is performed by independent local operators, not by BINS APP. BINS APP operates the platform that matches your requests to those operators, coordinates scheduling and handles payment.
BINS APP does not guarantee availability, delivery times or completion by any particular operator, and does not accept responsibility for damage, delay or non-performance by an operator. The Terms of Use and the Customer Rental Agreement set out how those matters are allocated.
A dedicated account team is available to approved commercial accounts to coordinate multi-site work and escalate service issues.
Confidentiality
Negotiated pricing structures, account terms and commercial reporting shared with you are confidential and should not be disclosed outside your organization except to people who need them to administer the account, or where disclosure is required by law.
We treat your site lists, order history and project information with the same expectation.
Suspension and termination
Either party may close a commercial account on notice. BINS APP may suspend or close an account for non-payment, misuse of the platform, unsafe or unlawful use of equipment, repeated prohibited-material violations, or breach of these terms.
Closing an account does not affect orders already in progress, amounts already owed, or obligations under the Customer Rental Agreement for equipment still on site.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the commercial product changes. Where a change materially affects an approved account, we will aim to give notice through the portal or to the account contact on file. Continued use of the account after a change takes effect indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
